The National Defense Authorization for Fiscal Year 2012 overrules the US constitution and international law by allowing the president to militarily detain indefinitely and without trial or indictment any person worldwide that is “Suspected of terrorism”.
Here’s the Wired article about the topic: Senate Wants the Military to Lock You Up Without Trial
SEC. 1021. AFFIRMATION OF AUTHORITY OF THE ARMED FORCES OF

Confused?
Here is a blog post (lawfareblog.com) of Robert M. Chesney, Professor in Law, where he’s explaining how he reads the current state of the law.
Since I don’t live in the US it matters little to me whether US citizens are included in the bill,
since all foreigners most definitely are covered.

The insanity of our marginal reserve banking system is so absurd that it boggles the mind and makes most people doubt that it could be true… But it is.
Money in our world exists only a debt.
When you loan money at a bank, the bank doesn’t need to actually have the money they loan you, they only need to have a “marginal reserve” of all money they loan to people, usually in the ratio of 9:1.
This means that if you loan 100$ at a bank, the bank only needs to have 11.12$ to do so.
The rest they simply invent by entering the amount 100$ into your account.
This works because EVERYONE never ever withdraws ALL their money at the same time,
which means: (And this is the part where most people start to disbelieve),
If all debt WAS paid back to the banks, there simply wouldn’t BE any money at all!
There simply isn’t enough money in the world to pay back what is owed to the banking system.
More so, because of the interests the combined debt grows exponentially creating exponential inflation, which in turn requires that we have worldwide exponential growth for the system to exists at all.
This of course is impossible on a planet with finite resources.
Thats the good news I guess,
This bubble will burst because you simply cannot have exponential growth.
Only question is: How bad is it going to get before it does?
What kind of desperate measures will “The Man Behind The Curtain” take to stay in power?
This video gives a very good explanation of how the marginal reserve banking system works and how it allows banks to create money out of nothing.

Some are quite funny

During the last 10 or so years, I’ve found myself from time to time, thinking about ways to leave the planet Earth.
It just seems so peaceful (and quiet I’ll have you) when viewed from above.
So if some day my posts stop for a long (longer then usually anyway) time, you’ll know where I am ![]()
Enjoy!
