    About The Server:

    • The Operation System is Debian 5.0 GNU/Linux running in a Parallels Virtuosso Container with DMA
    • The Blogging Software is WordPress 3.1.x running on an Apache2 webserver with PHP5 SafeMode = OFF (needed for some wordpress plugins)
    • There are around 60 Themes pre-installed to chose from, along with many usefull plugins, including the popular BuddyPress
    • You can of course download and install themes and plugins yourself, or create your very own.
    • The Net is full of information on how to extend your layout/theme with templetes, widgets & plugins
    • And for the hardcore, how to write your own ;-)
    • Also tools like Artisteer greatly simplifies the process of creating your own themes
